Hello, I'm a French painter living in Paris. I used to be a French-Japanese translator and a decorative painter, thus you can find influences of Japanese art and decorative art in my work. I work in series of paintings, the two oldest ones are my serie of Rimpa style birds, inspired by the Japanese Rimpa school of decorative art. And the second is my "Pop Ink" serie, inspire by Steichen's portraits of Hollywood's Golden Age Stars, one in ink on vivid pink drop backgroung. My new series are "Feminine Allegories", oil paintings reinterpreting the genre of the feminine allegory in a modern way. "Portraits from the Cabaret" are portraits in oil of cabaret performers and the upcoming serie will be about masculinity and its hidden vulnerabilities.
