Martin’s artistic journey began in early 1990s London, where he created meticulous watercolour illustrations of interiors for designers. Over the years, this instinct for disruption has evolved into a distinctive artistic voice. Today, Martin’s paintings hover between reality and imagination, fusing Realism, Surrealism, Magical Realism, and Pop Art into a language uniquely his own. His works often feel both familiar and uncanny: urban scenes unsettled by strange intrusions, domestic spaces haunted by symbolic presences, or playful juxtapositions that reveal deeper truths about the human condition.
