Soulless Painting

For a long time, art has been a way of expressing people's thoughts and feelings. For me, paintings are the best way to leave here the thoughts which I won't be able to express in words and to depict such feelings as admiration, anger, joy, or sadness that have accompanied me since childhood. I was born in the territory of today's Germany, from an early age I lived and studied in Riga, Latvia, and showed interest in art and martial arts. From the age of thirty, I traveled a lot around the world - from America to Asia, teaching martial arts. But life has taught me to be strong not only physically, but also spiritually. Paintings for me are my inspiration, where I draw my strength from, so art is as valuable to me as air. More than 20 years ago I moved to live in Ukraine, Odesa, in a beautiful city by the sea. I love the people here, nature, atmosphere. Here I have my own art gallery with a permanent exhibition of my work and temporary exhibitions of other artists. Here I organized a creative union of professional artists of Ukraine. I believe that the artist's hobbies help shape his work. Some of my main hobbies are fishing and cooking. Cooking is also great art, which, on the one hand, allows the culinary specialist to fantasize, and on the other hand, without adhering to certain principles, will not let him create his culinary masterpiece. So in art, without fantasies and innovations, paintings may seem trivial, and without the use of artistic principles, they may not be well understood. Fishing allows me to stop, reflect, and enjoy the moment. I painted many pictures while I was by the river, which is why these pictures are so imbued with the spirit of harmony and tranquility. The highlight of my collection is the Microcosm series of paintings. This is my attempt to portray how I see the beginning of the creation of the world. The versatility of our Universe, the variety of shapes and colors are fascinating. It seems that every small detail is created with a specific purpose and necessarily carries some meaning. And that's why I am firmly convinced that all accidents in our world are not accidental.
