Maria Lankina is a multidisciplinary artist and creative director based in Miami. She builds Mythohuman, a living system of images, text, and sound that studies how pictures produce belief. The practice moves between analog archives and computational tools and treats each work as relic, transmission, and record. The work emerges from survival. Lankina lived through violence, neglect, and institutional indifference. The response is refusal, precision, and control. She uses rule sets, a codex of glyphs (⚘ //), and RELIC and Transmission indexing to keep continuity across media and time. Surfaces are resolved, light is directed, language is exact. The aim is coherence rather than spectacle. Research threads include archives, bureaucracy, migration, and the politics of evidence. Mythohuman can be engaged as objects and as system: prints, videos, and sound pieces, alongside the score like logic that binds them. .
