Camila Pinheiro

Camila is an award-winning visual artist from Brazil.

Her paintings bridge the tradition of figurative painting with a visual language informed by graphic culture. The clarity of form and color does not seek to simplify the experience, but rather to foster a direct encounter between the artwork and the viewer.

Rather than telling a story, her paintings invite the viewer to slow down and look. Conceived to live within everyday spaces, they evoke a sensory memory and continue to reveal themselves through the experience of living with them.


Her practice moves fluidly between painting, large-scale visual commissions and international collaborations, building a body of work that connects contemporary art with graphic culture.

Her work has been exhibited at Museu Histórico e Pedagógico Dom Pedro I e Dona Leopoldina (Pindamonhangaba), at Yale University, and at international art fairs and galleries.

Throughout her career, Pinheiro has collaborated with cultural institutions, publishers, and international brands.
