My interest in photography started when I was a teenager and used to take pictures of people in the streets and later developed into a knowledge tool as I was studying the history of Architecture and Art.

As an architect and lighting designer I am deeply interested in the relationship between buildings, light and the graphical quality of architecture itself, and make a massive use photography as a unique, powerful and visionary professional tool, while as an art lover fascinated by the play of light in the natural world, taking pictures offers infinite possibilities to explore beauty and form.

I see photography as a means to relate to the world and celebrate it while preserving its memory and show it people through different and also unusual points of view.

Started almost 40 years ago with silver FP4 and HP5 and Ektachrome, I naturally switched to digital, with the old habit to build images in one shot in camera.

Architect, Lighting designer and Engineer, art lover, with a camera in my hands from the adolescence, born between the remains of the Roman Empire and the magnificence of Bernini and Borromini baroque Era, educated to the Rational Architecture and contemporary Art.
