Jake Gillespie

Born May 16, 1976

My work is a collection of artifacts that represent the act of painting and the practice of art making that demonstrates my intrigue and belief that color and the form of paint can function as a gateway to experience the formless.

I studied painting at the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts at Arizona State University and completed with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1999.
