My unattainable endeavor is to create complex artworks that capture a moment of reality yet bear timeless truths. Complexity encompasses not only the physical appearance but also the intellectual and emotional space. My paintings carry the reality of the photograph, the content of thought, and the color palette of the mood. This quest for truth can never reach a state of perfection because the world is constantly changing; what is true today may be false tomorrow. The painting is only seemingly constant, but in reality, it means something different every day. Perhaps truth is just an illusion, like an image? Perhaps yes, but the search for it is undoubtedly real.
