As a child I could find myself painting hours long in my room forgetting about time passing by. Later as an adult I started to dedicate more and more of my time to art. I realized that I have to connect more to the depth of my inner world. And because pictures and scenes have been circulating in my head since I was a child, painting and drawing is for me an instinct. I will always be thankful to all the artists who were teaching in Apolka Art School and Studio to have helped me open up to self-expression. The most important for me in painting and drawing is this instinct channelling through. The inner visions and feelings which find their reflections in the outside world, in the present moment. I hope you will like my work and will find as much connection and joy through them as I do. The style of my works and the mediums used are really diverse, moods, forms and atmospheres are constantly changing. But I think I can say two things about the way I create: most of the time I start from the whole picture in my head and also on the paper/canvas, taking greater part of the surface right in the beginning, rather than building up from the smaller details. The other thing which describes my creation work is that I am more into patches of colours, lights, shades and movements than into perspectives. I also know the mysterious unfolding feeling, when through brushing, mixing, basically physical work (combined with the presence of the heart) suddenly the image is resonating back: the look in the eye of a portrait, the being of a person of a nude, the energy of a landscape, the vibration of a still life, the resonance of an abstract… I think I could write pages about art and the process of creation, but let’s see the artworks instead:)
