Charlotte Evaristo is British visual artist to dual mixed heritage of a English Mother and Nigerian father. Trained at Central St Martin’s London and the University of Hertfordshire, where she gained her BA Honours degree in Fine Art. My creative process was initially very influenced by the rich, diverse culture of London and its architecture. Growing up in London of rich diverse culture of London and its architecture. All these elements allow me to explore different textures tones and colours the interplay between horizontal and vertical lines. My work reflect by my emotional experiences painting without any boundaries. I always look for balance and harmony. I am interested in people’s emotional reaction to my work. I feel energy is also derived from gesture and colour, the speed and violence of the mark and the abutment of colours. It can be the energy of aggression or the energy of deep, spiritual strength.
