As the climate crisis deepens, mental health and collective grief intensify, underscoring the need for spaces that promote care. My interdisciplinary practice addresses this by channeling human responses to loss, focusing on grief, cultural memory, and healing. Research for my current project began at NES residency in Iceland (May ’24), where I explored the intersection of Hydrocene Theory, radical care, and Butoh, meeting with biosphere researchers and evolutionary biologists. My work advocates for long-term healing, emphasizing interconnectedness and social, environmental, and emotional justice. Connie lives and works in Chcago.
