James Swartz

James C. Swartz is an Experimental Visual Artist and Photographer from Toronto, Canada. James has undertaken intensive study in Italy and France and his home Province of Ontario. James has been exhibiting his work in galleries, private showings as well as solo and juried art show in both Canada and Italy. James art and photography has been published in books, magazines and national newspapers. James was born in Toronto, where he received his formal training as an Artist Apprentice, under Hugh and Anne Isabelle McQuire Swartz, students of Frederick Varley, and Franklin Carmichael. James also studied at the Paillard Centre d'Art Contemporain in France. James is currently working as a full time artist and photographer and teaches private painting workshops.
