I often wonder who I am. The answer always comes when I paint—so I am a painter. My art signifies the inner workings of my mind. I let my body take control to create paintings that overflow with emotion.

My lines are not straight, my corners are sharp. I’ve experienced moments in my life that have driven me to illustrate and express the range of depth in my mind, emphasizing the dark corners as well as the purely whimsical thoughts only tangible through painting. Everything I create is important to me, because it has a place in my life. I am changed during the process of each painting.

Not always but usually overwhelming.
