Kiyo Aono

I create oil paintings inspired by emotions that quietly exist somewhere deep within myself — feelings I could never quite put into words.

My work explores the invisible connections between people: the distance that cannot quite be crossed, the longing that lingers without a name, the silent space between memory and presence.

I don’t paint romance. I paint what lives beneath it — the ache of missing someone, the stillness of loving from afar, the moment before feelings find their shape.

Each piece is painted by hand in oil, and exists as a single original. No reproductions. Only one in the world.
