Wooden “Digital”
The concept is based on a powerful semantic oxymoron. I use a warm, living, primordial material — wood — to visualize cold digital meanings. In my reliefs, archaic wood begins to imitate glitches (matrix errors), pixels, and gadget screens. This clash between material warmth and virtual noise gives rise to a unique visual language — “digital expressionism in wood.”
By transferring the visual code of the digital era (glitches, pixels, simulacra) onto the living, tectonic texture of wood, I create a unique hybrid language. My works are a physically tangible bridge between the archaic nature of the material and the ephemeral world of virtual technologies, forcing the viewer to experience space and the boundaries of contemporary art in a new way.
