Sarah Meredith

After many years as a textile designer, painting in gouache, I switched media and intent. As a textile designer, I was following the trends and "designing" as opposed to making artwork. Now as a full-time painter, I follow my own path painting everything from quick studies to more sustained portraiture and still life. I paint in studios in both New York City and upstate New York where my husband and I own a working farm. I have two grown children who are also in the arts.
