Tiffany Pippin

My work focuses primarily on reality based renders and expressions. Moving from portraiture into more explorative themes of self inspection, spiritual and secular impression and expression, existentialism, generational gaps and “hand-me-downs”, identity, its removal and replacement, as well as the correlation and integration of the traditional with the contemporary in most any form.

My work makes use of traditional mediums such as oils, acrylics, charcoals and pastels, as well as mixed mediums, and new media. I use any one or more of these to bring about a piece or a body of work to which it lends itself most useful as a carrier for the subject matter.

I do not limit neither my subject, style nor medium. I value art as an evolving exploration of life and a form of historical transcription.
