Wolfgang Dokulil is a Viennese (Austrian) artist who expresses himself primarily through oil painting, digital painting, and object art.
He creates an open artistic cosmos, open to seeing where it all leads.
He is interested in abstract, informal, non-representational, intuitive art. The materiality, texture, form, and color of his works evolve during the process. The material, color, and form serve neither as representation, illustration, nor narrative. The images and objects exhibit a variety of spatial layering and relationships. This art is a style-free and universal, purely subjectively based form of painting and object art.
