Michał Cygan

Both the art workshop and the colour play an important role in my work. The Silesia region had a great influence on my paintings. An architecture and people are inspiring for me in particular. Therefore often in my paintings there are Familoks and people who have been etched in my memory because of their bizarre behaviour or some weird situations.
I usually start my paintings with a particular story, which expands in the process with new threads and comments. In my work I try to create my own fantasy world additionally enriched by multiple real life comments.

Education: Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice, 2011 -2016, Art Department, Graphic Art, Intaglio Stuido under prof. Jan Szmatloch. Painitng Studio under prof. K. Cieślik. He gratuaded with honors in Digital Graphics under prof. Adam Romaniuk.
