Amin Shiri

My art was born from a deeply personal experience – watching my friend lose her vision during protests in Iran. This inspired me to create artwork that could be experienced through touch, not just sight. Using raised, tube-like strands of paint, I create textured pieces inspired by neural networks in the brain.
As a behavioral scientist turned artist, I'm fascinated by how our minds work. Each piece combines vibrant colors and tactile patterns that tell stories about human consciousness and connection. My goal is simple: create art that's both meaningful and accessible to everyone, whether they can see it or not.
