Andrea Lins

Andrea was born and raised in Ipanema beach, at the heart of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. That was where she spent most of her childhood and teenage years. Now she has been living in São Conrado beach, Rio de Janeiro for the past 25 years. Passionate about art in all its manifestations, Andrea seeks inspiration through Brazil's rich natural elements. From an early age, Andrea experimented with various artistic languages, such as drawing, painting, botanical illustration, watercolour, and photography - in addition to theatre and dance. More recently, she immersed herself into the world of collage.

May 2018 she exhibited at the Espaço de Arte, Cultura e Psicologia (EACP), Rio de Janeiro holding her first individual show, “A Eclosão do Eu”. Inspired by the feminine universe and elements of nature, the exhibition was composed of 35 original collage artworks.

March 2019 she participated collective collage art exhibition in Gavea 55/ Rio de Janeiro/Brasil.
