Andrew Horsfall

Andrew is a British sculptor from East Sussex. He has often undertaken projects in Rajasthan, India and in 2020 moved his work-space to Jaipur permanently. Here he finds his energy flowing freely and his focus has grown to encompass many other art forms, on a deeper level than ever before. As a sculptor, drawing has always been a potent part of his work. Working in a new place, with a different light, experimenting with new materials, and intuitively navigating the digital space which has emerged in his lifetime, Andrew is now starting to offer the fruits of many years of laborious and passionate experiments in India.

Whilst living in East Sussex, Andrew and Sarah raised seven children together. Today they are scattered across the world from Bermuda to Hong Kong, and he is grandfather to seven (soon to be eight) little ones. Andrew has entered a new phase of his creative life.

Educated at Ellmfield Steiner School, Stourbridge, West Midlands from 1961 to 1965, and Michael Hall Steiner School, Forest Row East Sussex 1966 to 1971.
