Raluca Buzdugan is a Romanian painter and concept artist, working both in the traditional and digital realm.
Her art is informed by the natural and social environment and speaks about beauty, nature and world events
She is constantly.pushing the boundaries of traditional mediums and exploring new avenues for artistic expression. Her work is a fusion of abstract forms and figurative elements, blending together to create imaginative and thought-provoking pieces.
Working across multiple mediums, including digital art, she creates unique and captivating works that challenge the viewer's perception of reality.
Drawing inspiration from the great modernists like Brancusi, she conceptualizes her shapes to create imaginary creatures and landscapes that speak to the human experience.
Raluca studied architecture (M.Urbanism, PhD Architecture) at Ion Mincu University of Architecture and Urbanism in Bucharest, Romania.
While being an artist, she is also the Design Principal for Vlad Simionescu & Asociatii Arhitecti, an European award winning architectural studio.
