Born on Long Island, NY. Studied painting and illustration at School of Visual Arts in NYC under famed artist and teacher Marshall Arisman., a big influence on my technique and freedom of expression! My uncle Truman Toland was the impetus behind my dedication to the arts. A chief animator for Disney during the making of "Fantasia", he would enchant me with his ability to bring Mickey and Donald to life on a napkin if I asked....I was hooked!
