Jane Pryor

Colour is integral to Jane Pryor’s studio paintings and collages. Individual paintings are self-referential, making quotations from other work in the studio and acknowledge the history of abstract painting. Some paintings are paired with other works giving rise to new interpretations. She is interested in the inherent mutability of things, that nothing is fixed in appearance or interpretation.

Jane is London born, now working from a studio in Cambridgeshire.
