Jason Goetzinger

Through the use of design, colour and symbolism I find new and exciting ways to interpret the world around me and share it with the viewer. My main influences have been human behaviour and the complexities of the natural world that surround me on the beautiful islands of Haida Gwaii, British Columbia. My professional art career spans over 28 years in which time I have practiced the art of painting, sculpture, drawing and jewellery.

1994-Present: Artistic practice of wood sculpture and Jewellery making

2006-2007: Attended the Victoria College of Art, studied art history, drawing, design and painting.

2007-Present: Artistic practice of Painting and Mixed- media sculpture.
