Linas Grybe

Hey there, I am Linas. I was born in Lithuania (at the time part of Soviet Union). My home town is a small city calledd Pasvalys. Gem of wild nature and flatlands of meadows. I chose to study painting in Siauliai city (Lithuania) University. Maybe you have heard about Siauliai city, there is a Hill of Croses around. After my studies I worked as a painting teacher. I do teaching at times. Now I live out of commissions, portraits moustly. Oil on canvas, oil on jute canvas, oil on tapestry are my favorite techniques.
Several of my works stored in private "Angel's" museum collection, in Lithuania. My copy of Baron fon der Ropp portait, originaly painted in XIX century, is stored in Pakruojis Manor (Lithuania). Also, I won competition to draw Honorary Citizens of Siauliai city. Link to the site
