Mani Saemi

London based, published artist, Born into an artistic family in 1987 in Tehran, Iran, Mani's passion for art emerged and was nurtured from an early age. whilst living in Iran he studied visual communication with a focus on graphic design, and then embarked on a master's degree in Interior Design. On moving to Sweden in 2011, he studied fashion and leather design at Steneby Academy of Design and Crafts. His practice spans various disciplines including painting, mural art, illustration, and design. His paintings are ambiguous, and multi-faced, the central focus constantly shifting the perspective of the viewer. Influences of East and West intertwine as he explores the fluidity of gender and cultural heritage.
