To share with you the work of the artist Marion Legouy who has joined us for our imminent session.

On the occasion of the very next sale from 14 to 23 May 2021, ARTIST has signed a new collaboration with the emblematic artist of painted weaving. She is our guest of honour for these exceptional days, accompanied by her painting " le nouveau monde».
Yes, but for whom? For you: "Women-Artists" who are worth more than anything else in the world!
Yes, but why, how? This is the choice ofARTIST which has examined the work with a magnifying glass. Brigitte and François have reconstructed a textile construction and tell you this story sewn with green, bronze, ochre, white, grey and red threads.
The selected work was originally inspired by a poplar tree, which was itself taken from a triptych of 2017. Marion Legouy entered art through engraving and has kept her love of paper from her practice as an engraver.
