I took the “lucky” photo from which I drew this painting on a summer day, in the countryside toward the sea. I have been photographing skies, clouds of all kinds and thunderstorms for as long as I can remember, but I had never been faced with such a peculiar sky. That powerful big cloud on the blue ...

I was born in Italy, a few years ago, into a family immersed in art. My father, a painter by passion, passed on his love for painting and his knowledge to my uncle, who became a professional artist. Growing up in this environment nurtured my interest in the world of painting from an early age. Although I wished to attend an art institute, circumstances led me to pursue different fields of study, yet I never abandoned my passion. As a self-taught artist, with the invaluable support of my uncle, I cultivated my artistic vein in my spare time. That was until 2020 when I decided to completely change my life: I left my job to dedicate myself entirely to painting and I enrolled in art school, fulfilling a long-awaited dream. I prefer oil painting, through which I express my affinity for the evocative and hypnotic atmospheres of thunderstorms and misty, rain-soaked landscapes. This constant dialogue between emotions and nature represents, for me, an expression of inner peace, a source of serenity that I convey in my paintings. My goal is to capture the soul of landscapes and transport the viewer into a world suspended between reality and imagination. I live and work in the south of Tuscany, a magical place between the countryside and the sea, whose landscapes are a constant source of inspiration for my paintings.
