Renata Dyk is a contemporary fine artist based in Poland, whose practice bridges painting, sculpture, and design. Her acclaimed Mannekin series began when she discovered discarded mannequins destined for landfill. Seeing potential where others saw waste, she transformed these figures into striking canvases — breathing new life into forgotten forms and reimagining them as sculptural works of art. This creative direction was a natural evolution of her earlier work in Cairo, where she painted and exhibited large-scale three-dimensional pieces. Today, her Mannekins stand as both contemporary relics and symbolic guardians — “modern suits of armour” that embody beauty, resilience, and status. Alongside her sculptural work, Dyk also creates powerful photographic studies of the Mannekin forms. These images — whether presented as single statements or curated sets — bring a bold, fashion-forward aesthetic to interiors, resonating in both contemporary spaces and historic homes. Renata continues to accept commissions for bespoke Mannekin works, collaborating with private collectors, brands, and companies seeking truly one-of-a-kind creations. She is a verified member of the Visual Artists Association (UK), and her works are held in collections across Europe, North America, and the Middle East.
