1969, Yerevan, Armenia

I have been born into an artistic family. My father was a soloist ballet dancer and choreographer at the Yerevan Opera and my mother is a classical music teacher.
Music (both classical and contemporary) plays a vital role in inspiring me to express my artistic ideas. I favour a stylized style in my paintings. I often chose to capture the different inner worlds of women.
Since moving to the UK in 2006 I have been inspired to integrate a more abstract viewpoint into my art expressions.

I have studied for 5 years, specialising in oil paintings and sculpture.
Since 2000 I have had several exhibitions in different venues in the Armenian capital Yerevan. A collection of my work is on permanent display in the centre of Yerevan.
In addition I have illustrated three children books. They were translated in different languages, exhibited and recognised abroad.
