Rory Williams

I am a landscape photographer and artist living in Galicia Northern Spain. My work is split between film and digital and is mainly Black and White. With my digital work I keep it as close to what can be achieved in the darkroom using film. So I adjust contrast and dodge but nothing more.

I started my apprenticeship in 1982 in a small general practice studio. Very quickly I was able to combine my love of mountaineering with that of my photography. For some time I was employed by a guide book company which allowed me to get paid for both.
In the mid 1980 s I qualified as an Associate of the British Institute of Professional Photography and went on to win numerous awards.
