Julia Makarova

My name is Julia Makarova, I`m from Kyiv, Ukraine.
I`m a young artist, trying to sense all the colors of the world with the help of drawing. I`ve been painting for about 15 years since my childhood and it has become number one hobby for me as well as expression of my temper and inner world. Each and every painting is filled with a joy and happiness of the memories I had along with some abstract art.
Art inspires me, makes my life more harmonious and fill it with bright colors.
I work in various techniques - oil, pastel, acrylic, do-it-myself decorative trees gifts, but the main my passion is stained glass painting technique.
I like to improvise with a combination of different genres, styles and techniques of works execution.
Strive for continuous improvement and self-development. My works are in private collections in Ukraine and Poland.

Courses: "Basics of Design", (September 2003 - May 2005).
I do not have art education.

1. An exhibition devoted to the 50th anniversary of Kiev Metro (December 2010 - January 2011)
2. An exhibition "Christmas salon" in the Gallery "Arka" (December 2013 - January 2014)
3. A charity exhibition and art auction of the project "Smart hospital" and Wunjo-Art Gallery, in May 2014, Art Arsenal.
4. An exhibition "Brightnames" (December 2014) of the International Art Festival "Talent Energy Fest", Kiev fortress.
5. A charity auction in support of the Ukrainian army.
