EXHIBITIONS
I am a South African artist, living in Noordhoek in the Western Cape.
I work mostly in oils & cold wax, I enjoy playing with inks, iron filings & other mixed mediums too.
My art is intuitive, there is an energy that goes into each artwork, capturing movement & light. With an emphasis on achieving an impressionistic approach rather than an accurate realistic rendition, leaving you with a calm rhythm. I'm on a continually evolving path. I love imperfection!
I transitioned into a full time artist after a 22 year career in advertising. Before that I studied Graphic Design at Wits Technikon.
I am a member of the South African Society of Artists.
I have work up at the Noordhoek Art Point Gallery & South Hills Vineyards, as well as regularly taking part in the MonChouChou Art & Vines evenings. I have had work exhibited at the Zeitz Mocca. I also exhibit regularly at Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens & have taken part in numerous online exhibitions & auctions.
My work is in homes all around the world.
