Olivier Thébaud was born in 1972. French independant photographers since 1995. Edited by Actes Sud .
After studying sociology in Nantes university in 1994, Olivier Thebaud decided to focus on documentary photography.
Since 1997 he is doing various reportages and bringing a special look on the middle east, margin the news events.
In 2009 he start a research about the collectiv memory in Europe.
In 2004 he is granted by Leica Camera Germany for his works "Memoirs" and his book "State of Siege ».
In 2005 is project in the Middle East is granted by Fuji.
In 2006 he made an artist residence in the Guangdong Museum of Art of Guangzhou in China.
Since 1997 he is doing various reportages and bringing a special look on the middle east, margin the news events.
In 2009 he start a research about the collectiv memory in Europe. In 2004 he is granted by Leica Camera Germany for his works « Memoirs » and his book « State of Siege ».
In 2005 is project in the Middle East is supported by Fuji.
In 2014 and 2015 his personal project Regeneration, mixing installation of Nature Aquarium and landscape photography has been awarded two times in the top 27 of the International Aquarium Plants Layout Contest in Jap...
