This oil painting is an exploration of contrasts transformed into the poetry of color. I chose irises because their petals already embody a natural contradiction: fragility of form and strength of color, delicacy and boldness at the same time. I graduated from the Ukrainian Academy of Arts in 1999, specializing in painting. In parallel with my studies, I began working at the vernissage on Andriyivskyy Descent in Kyiv. I carried out individual orders, exhibited at auctions and built professional relationships with collectors and art lovers. This experience helped me better understand the needs of the viewer and create works that resonate with people. My portfolio includes still lifes and landscapes. I paint portraits. My works are in private collections around the world. My painting is based on a solid academic school, but I am constantly looking for new ways to convey light, color and mood, combining tradition with impressionistic searches. I experiment with form, composition and perception, not being afraid of change and innovation in my work. It is important for me that each painting has its own emotional impact and remains alive in the eyes of the viewer.
