Born in Brescia in 1957 and raised in Milan, Alberto Capitani is a digital artist bridging classical training and contemporary AI. A piano graduate of the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory (with further studies in composition and electronic music), he also pursued mathematical logic and theoretical philosophy at the University of Milan. After more than four decades teaching piano, he shifted to visual arts, working with Midjourney, DALL-E, and ChatGPT to create a body of about 1,700 works. First-year studies in Electronic Music, Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory, Milan
Diploma in Tourism Studies, Milan, Italy
This diploma represented a deliberate choice to pursue a modern educational path focused on contemporary subjects such as foreign languages (French, English, German), law, economics, and finance. It was a conscious departure from the traditional classical education (Latin and Greek), reflecting my inclination to challenge conventional norms and explore diverse fields of knowledge.
University-level coursework in Mathematical Logic and Theoretical Philosophy, University of Milan
Ongoing Digital Presence
While I have not pursued traditional gallery exhibitions, my work has reached a wide online audience through continuous participation on platforms such as Fine Art America and Art Majeur.
My series of over 1700 AI-generated artworks is presented as an open, evolving collection rather than a closed curatorial event, inviting viewers to engage in a fluid and conceptual journey through aesthetic and technological experimentation.
