Nino Saleta

I was born in the province of Valverde in the Dominican Republic. I decided to become a painter when I was twelve years old. I said to my father, bring me to the Fine Arts School in Santiago and so I started to study painting. One time I was in front of our home making a watercolor of the house. An artist friend of my father saw me working and told my father that I was doing a perspective drawing like a 2 year architecture student. So from that time I became interested in arts and architecture.
