Alla Shliakhova Artist – professor –art critic– writer – poet – maecenas. Alla Shliakhova has an international certificate of the Master of Arts. He is the dean of the Art department International Academy of Arts and Science, as well as Honorary member of the International Maritime Association. She works in different genres, su Alla chas still life and portrait but her favorite one is the landscape. Artist’s favorite technique is pastel. As a high-level professor in painting, she uses and teaches all known techniques and materials (oil, acrylic, gouache, watercolor, pastel, coal, sepia, sanguine, pencil, etc.) and has her own training methodology. Alla was born in Kharkiv. In 1984, she graduated with honors from the Kharkiv children’s art school named by I. Repin In 1988, she graduated with honors the Kharkiv State School of Art where she learned from Yu.Lutsenko. In 1994, Ms. Shliakhova graduated with honors from the Kharkov Art and Industry Institute (current the Kharkov State Academy of Design and Arts, where her teachers were V. Kovtun, E. Spitsevich, Yu.Stakhanov, V. Sizikov and S. Besedin. Since 1992, she has been a member of Greenpeace in the fight to protect the environment. Alla Shlyakhova has been helping the Kharkov Zoo, children with cancer of Kharkov and the Kharkov region not for the first time. She also helps with the design and future construction of the Orthodox church complex of the Smolensk Icon of the Divine Mother in Kharkov and the restoration of the Kharkov Theological Seminary. Having moved to Odessa, she continues her charitable activities in the Odessa region. Alla Shliakhova’s painting studio for children and adults has already been opened in Kryzhanovka. Contacts have been established with the Childrens Rehabilitation Center named after Boris Litvak , the Institute Rehabilitation of Persons with Psycho-Physical Development named after Janusz Korczak, Odessa Childrens House No. 1 and No. 3 for continued assistance. Also, traditionally, assistance will be provided to children of Africa. Assistance is planned to one of the reserves in the suburbs of Odessa. First, two NEW postage stamps of Ukraine with pictures of paintings by Alla Shlyakhova were presented in Odessa. And on November 13, in honor of the World Kindness Day, Alla Shliakhova presented a series of postage stamps with her paintings at the central office of the Ukrposhta in Odessa.
