Christos Baloukos

Christos Baloukos is a contemporary figurative painter based in Athens, Greece. His work explores psychological stillness within contemporary interiors, using a restrained palette and a palette knife technique to create layered, tactile surfaces. Through controlled compositions and spatial balance, his paintings examine the quiet tension between solitude and structured modern life.

Baloukos studied painting, graphic design, and iconography, developing a strong foundation in drawing and material exploration. His practice bridges classical discipline with a contemporary visual language, focusing on atmosphere, silence, and the emotional presence of space.

His works are held in private collections, museums, and curated hospitality spaces, including hotels and interiors across Europe and internationally. He continues to develop the series Interior Silence, positioning his work within a contemporary gallery context.
