Yvonne Morrish

I was born in the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia, Canada.I started painting later in my life, and was always interested in sketching, as I still carry a sketch pad wherever I go, may it be in my travels or just a local scene I capture. Seeing through an artists eyes is always rewarding.

I find art a healing tool because it transcends everything that you are. It helps us to rise above the daily pattern of our lives. Art levels souls and baffles brains. Living and painting are always works in progress. I am grateful for the opportunity to live as an artist on the threshold of the unknown.

I am a self taught artist. I have attended many workshops given by professional artists. I also have taught and done demos for local Art Clubs. I have exhibited in Art Exhibitions as a solo and group Shows. I am a member of The Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour CSPWC) The Federation of Canadian Artists, The Canadian Watercolour Society, and are on many National and International web-sites. ,
