Tracey Thorne is a British photographer and photographic artist, and researcher whose work explores colonial histories, cultural memory, and urban landscapes through lens-based media and alternative photographic processes. Her practice spans street photography, protest documentation, and experimental cyanotypes, often layering archival and site-based imagery to examine power, erasure, and resistance. Recent projects include Sugarland, a research-led response to the Boulton & Watt archives and fieldwork in Jamaica, investigating the legacies of British colonialism. Her work engages with reparative visual strategies and has been exhibited in the UK.
