Andreea Costenco


Andreea Costenco started her career as an artist with a Diploma in Fashion design in her native Bucharest and continued to achieve a degree in Fine Arts from the University there. She has also recently completed a Masters in Scenography at Central St. Martins College of Art and Design in London.
The latest painting exhibition "Touch the earth and breathe the air" was developed as a contemporary art installation involving Catalin Cretu, composer and multimedia artist. The series of works brought together under the title "When you feel the earth you can breathe the air" with the theme of love as a form of existence outside of time and space was visited between 3 to 11 August 2014 at the National Museum of the Romanian Peasant(Str. Kiseleff . 3), Irina Nicolau Gallery.
As a painter, Andreea’s recent works include “History Organic: Breeze Between Water and Flame”, painting exhibition at Cărturești Verona, Bucureşti, "Camino History Organic Structure " Kinetic interactive painting installation at the Odeon Gallery, Odeon Theatre in Bucharest in 2012, the painting installation "Odyssey" at Westland Village in Munich in 2010.
