A form that the artist took again in oil painting on canvas and linocut. Very nice set forming a square for this couple merges. Still a lot of sensuality and eroticism in this sculpture. Subject sculpted by the artist, in clay, then cast in bronze by a founder. A patina was applied to finalize.

¤ 60 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE ¤ As a "free" student at the Fine Arts school in Toulouse, he was a student of Mr.Espinasse (sketch and drawing section). Self-taught in painting and sculpture, he honed his craft over time. His famous workshop in Collioure, Roussillon, was frequented by knowledgeable art enthusiasts from 1963 to 1984. With a cosmopolitan clientele visiting for over 20 years, his works can be found in numerous countries around the world. He crossed paths with many other well-known painters of today, such as Balbino Giner and Maria Lluis (a friend to this day). His compound first name (Jacques-Philippe) is only partially used; he chose the first part, Jacques, for many years. In 1975, the year of his father's death and the birth of his daughter, he decided to choose the second part, Philippe, to begin a new "cycle." He held exhibitions in several cities in the south of France, accumulating first prizes and medals in various regions. He settled on the Charente coast and also painted in Brittany (1980-1986). He regularly exhibited in Talmont. In 1987, he returned to Toulouse. From that date onwards, his artistic evolution led him to a period of abstract art known as "cosmic." Simultaneously, he constantly sought sculpted forms, "sensual couples," created in molded clay, resin, or bronze from 1988 to the present day. They were also reproduced on various media, especially oil on canvas and linocut on Bristol board. 1999: Major retrospective exhibition at the Royal Castle of Collioure. June 2003: Cultural event "envie" focusing on the theme of women and motherhood (sculptures, paintings, photographs) at the Lande de Viguier Hospital, Hôtel Dieu, and Banque Courtois. December 24, 2004: 1st Sculpture Biennale, Hôtel Dieu. In 2012, several exhibitions in the United Kingdom, in London, Chichester (at the Oxmarket Arts Centre), with the collaboration of Art-rooms. To this day, numerous exhibitions in various galleries in the south of France. He continues to create in his workshop near Toulouse. His daughter, Laure, takes care of all the visual, digital, and commercial work and has been providing him with constructive feedback for many years ;-)
