"Feeling Blue" Painting

Kate Marion Lapierre is an expressive painter and creates in a very energizing and spontaneous way. She has sold her work to collectors in America, Europe, and Asia. She enjoys creating in the moment and is drawn to color, mood, or the environment. She uses color, shape, and movement, in her work and likes to intermix the elements to create a unique piece of art. Each viewer can interact with her paintings and interpret them on a personal level. While most of her work is primarily abstract, there are also times she creates representational imagery such as florals or landscapes but in an abstract way. Her work is done on paper, canvas, and sometimes on recycled wood. Modern contemporary abstract artists as well as those from the past continue to influence her work.
