Born in 1952 in Hanoi, Vietnam, Đỗ Anh Tuấn has dedicated his entire life to art. Since early youth, his education in painting and music provided a firm foundation for his later career as a photographer. After more than 40 years of professional activity, he is widely known as a leading photographer in Vietnam.

The main subject of his work is humanity, with 2 genres of street photography and nude photography. The outstanding characteristics in his mode of expression are ideas and stories with particular content. For intricate ideas and complex themes, he combines various photos into portfolio format, in which the spectator will be guided into a story through visual language.

EXHIBITIONS / WORKS
Do Anh Tuan has participated in numerous national and international exhibitions. Beside his personal works, he also collaborated as a documentary photographer for international organizations.

- Solo photography exhibition at Vietnam Art Exhibition Centre, 29 Hang Bai, Hanoi (1996).
- Gold medal at the 1st International Photography Exhibition in Vietnam (1996).
- Won 2 Awards from MILK PHOTOS in New Zealand (2000).
- Co-exhibited 2 award winning works from MILK PHOTOS in New York (09/2001).
- Honored guest speaker on Discovery Channel (2010).

- Lead photographer for Heritage Vietnam magazine
- Contributor for Marie-Claire magazine
- Lead photographer for Vietnam Airlines advertising campaigns

Notable documentary photography works include those for Federal Government of the United States, Danish International Development Agency, SNV Netherlands Development Organisation.
