Gautier Caille's creations are structured around two main axes: a destructive aspect, where he dissects objects to extract their essence, their memories, and their intrinsic value. This approach highlights their fragility, ephemeral, even fleeting nature and the value society assigns to objects.

The second aspect relies on superposition, where materials intertwine to form complex and texture-rich compositions. This duality between destruction and reconstruction questions the meaning and sense of objects, creating a tension between the overall softness of the work and the cutting edges of the details, revealed by raw or transformed materials.
