Seda B Saar

Seda Saar is a Los Angeles–based artist working across painting, sculpture, and installation. Her practice explores light as a spatial and perceptual medium, using geometry, reflective surfaces, and layered color to create works that shift with their environment.

With a background in interior architecture and professional experience in themed environment design for major studios including Universal, Saar approaches her work through structure, precision, and spatial awareness. Her compositions construct atmosphere through light and color, balancing clarity with subtle optical depth.

Her work has been exhibited internationally and presented in public art contexts, including installations at San Diego International Airport. It is held in museum, corporate, and private collections across the United States, Europe, the United Kingdom, the Middle East, and Japan.

Drawing on a lineage of geometric abstraction and light-based practices, Saar creates work that emphasizes balance, rhythm, and the quiet intensity of color in space.
