I transform observed reality into emotional, atmospheric paintings shaped by light, memory and inner states. My work explores a metaphysical dimension of nature, where colour, texture and light become carriers of meaning. I work in oil, acrylic and watercolor, as well as mixed media, building tactile, light-responsive surfaces using layered paint, sand, metallic pigments and Vicol glue. My practice moves fluidly between traditional painterly methods — glazing and imprimatura — and expressive, textured surfaces. Inspired by nature, memory and the experience of place, I create contemporary landscape, abstract landscape and symbolic still life compositions. Rather than documenting what is seen, I translate it into colour, structure and atmosphere — inviting contemplation and emotional connection. Each painting is designed as an interior-ready work that responds to light and space, while carrying a deeper, introspective narrative. LANDSCAPE Landscape is a central theme in my practice, developed towards contemporary, abstract and expressive interpretations. I focus on the essence of landscape rather than its literal appearance — horizon, depth, atmosphere and silence. Layered paint, raw materials and subtle metallic accents create surfaces that shift with light and perspective. These landscapes exist between memory and imagination. Minimal, contemplative and rooted in natural rhythms, they move towards a metaphysical dimension of landscape, in dialogue with painting tradition. STILL LIFE My contemporary still life paintings explore symbolic composition and quiet magical realism. Everyday objects are arranged not for decoration, but for their emotional and metaphysical potential. Through restrained palettes and balanced structure, I transform ordinary reality into subtle, introspective narratives. These works function both as conceptual paintings and refined interior pieces for collectors who value thoughtful, atmospheric art. ARTISTIC APPROACH & MATERIALS My practice combines traditional painting methods with experimental surface work, including: oil, acrylic and watercolor mixed media processes textured surfaces (sand, structural layers, Vicol glue) metallic pigments and light-reactive details purees, underpainting in a painting and imprimatura techniques The tactile surface is essential — it allows the painting to shift with light, distance and perspective, creating a dynamic visual experience.
